"Johnny Teardrop" is the first single to be lifted from the current Edwyn Collins album Doctor Syntax.
It has been re-mixed and gracefully enhanced with the addition of David McAlmont on backing vocals.
There is an accompanying video directed by Tony Gregory and Kim Gavin which features cameo appearances from The(Bootleg)Natural Four, Toni Brazil, Will Youngish, Bucket of Shit, and last ,but not least, The (Australian) Milli Vanilli! Kim last worked with Edwyn whilst choreographing "The Magic Piper" video. Tony has recently finished directing the latest series of "Big Brother".
