A debut album (Check In), an award (Best New Band @ The Meteors) and some incredible tours with The Cribs, The Subways, Art Brut and their first UK headline shows. This year is looking even better. The band started 2006 with a drunken, foul mouthed but classy as ever (Sexy Mistake anyone?) New Year's headline show in Dublin. Already this year The Chalets have had two songs featured in Top 5 US show 'Grey's Anatomy', have been nominated as Best Irish Band at The Meteors (against U2: Make Bono History! www.metor.ie) , are already in Europe causing mayhem and mischief with Art Brut, turned down 6 figure offers to appear on Celebrity Big Brother and are to release new single 'Theme From Chalets' on March 13th.
