The Jeevas 'Cowboys & Indians'

'Cowboys & Indians', coming swiftly on the hooves of the Jeevas' first album '1234'... is an explosion of psychedelic, swamp stomping, gumbo driven, rock and roll. A homage to the great American fairy tale, Crispian Mills (of Kula Shaker fame) has written some of his finest tunes to date, whilst Andy Nixon and Dan McKinna throw some heavy punches on drum and bass.

Influences on the record range from such well springs as, Credence Clearwater revival, Johnny Cash, Neil Young and bizarrely enough, Cheech and Chong. The album features the frat house rocking "The Way you Carry On" as well as class cover versions of Bob Dylan's 1965 epic 'Masters of War' and CCR's 'Have you ever seen the rain', (Both incidentally written in protest of the Vietnam war).

In a great tradition of three piece rock and roll bands like The Who and The Experience, the Jeevas look set to cut themselves loose in a league of their own.
